Pakistan Training Project
A combined UKFSSART training team has recently returned from a successful training project in Pakistan. Team members from West Midlands, West Sussex and Lancashire spent two weeks in the capital, Islamabad, providing rope rescue and shoring training for instructors from a newly formed rescue team. INSARAG Heavy Team Badge
UKFSSART is formed from 13 UK Fire and Rescue Services, each of whom provide a 6-person team of search and rescue specialists. Specific groups also provide command, logistical and medical support in order to ensure that the team is self-sufficient and meets all the requirements of the INSARAG system.
